If support of black voters is the issue, then there is no reason to look beyond Biden who is the overwhelming choice of black Democrats. Pete’s issue is he is not that well known, black voters will vote for him if he is the nominee.

For the Democrats, this is very reminiscent of 2004, or worse again 1988, with a selection of half wits vying for the nomination. One of the defeated half wits from 1988 is even the front runner. It’s hard to see anything other than a win for the incumbent on the first Tuesday in November.

It’s truly a hopeless field, Biden is the only one that people might trust and I’m not sure he can be trusted to tie his shoelaces.
Policy wise yes and comes across as sane, but huge hurdle in recognition and appeal to African Americans.
