So likelihood 1/3 or over of 69 year olds have registered for their vaccine in the first hour this morning.
Did your in laws get their date when they registered?

You won’t get a date. The portal is to register your interest in the vaccine really.
First appointments will be some time next week.

How did the one in Poland work @balbec? Did you get a slot there and then or did you have to wait?
It’s not clear why, if AZ is effectively limited to this cohort now, that they can’t start sticking needles in arms within days. We keep getting told that the mass vaccination infrastructure is good to go.

In the ECDC report for week 14,
Ireland got 14400 doses of AZ, 0 doses of Moderna (Will be in this weeks figures I assume), and 135720 doses of pfizer (10k more than I was expecting)
I was 20 doses off with my AZ estimate

Should push the doses sitting in a fridge up to close to 310k at close of business last Sunday.
I reckon that should mean Ireland has now received more than 1m doses of Pfizer alone.
