Vaccine Numbers Log Thread

Holohan coming under pressure with more and more people asking valid questions of him
& NPHET. Him being questioned at that press conference last week over the cervical check scandal wouldn’t have happened at any other time since last March.

It means another lovely puff piece interview on The Late Late is imminent.

Presumably a journalist asked why Ireland is ignoring WHO advice

Probably makes more sense to stick with Pfizer/Moderna now for over 65s in that full protection can be now rolled out on a 3-4 week basis whereas AZ takes 8-12 weeks.

Full steam ahead with Pfizer Moderna for the over 65s and get vaccinating the under 65s with AZ and J&J when it comes on board. Should be well on the way by summer.

Meanwhile in the first world

That’s August by HSE standards

Serenity now.

And then they’ll be on holidays so it’s really September.

Someone needs to ask Holohan if that’s really a better outcome than following WHO guidance and lashing out the AZ to the over 70s.

I cannot see how it makes any sense.

Yes and those holidays were booked on the 2nd of January so they’re not moving them, so they’re not.

This will mean the HSE redrawing the already redrawn plans.

It was May about 48 hours ago. You have to laugh really

Hasn’t really had much impact on the the % of people hospitalised though. It’s actually increased.

Sure he wants the lockdown for months more, it’s no skin off his nose.

How on earth could this have slipped by 3 months? What are they planning to do with the extra Pfizer and Moderna we are going to start to get?

They’ve made some bollocks out of this.

Only another 123 more days lads.

Have they stopped informing the public on the weekly supply intakes?

So we are rocking along at +/- 3,000 doses a day
