Waterford Hurling (now incorporating intermediate football) 2013 and subsequent years

The Galway clubs have a great record in this in recent years.

Oranmore won the final by 1 point. Lot of tight games all round by the sound of things. Ballygunner beat Kilmacud by 1 point in their quarter final.

surely mt sion and st saviours should be fielding on their own??

Saviours seemingly have 3 very handy hurlers in that age group that Mount Sion wanted. Saviours would be more football orientated. Mount Sion were to give a hand to Saviours with the football. You don’t need @Fagan_ODowd to tell you how that end of the bargain played out.

In other news, Aussie has announced his intention to return to the county team in 2025.

Is Rishi staying on as leader of your party after their upcoming annihilation more of interest to you? Personnel available or not to an inconsequential stick fighting county in Eire seems well below both you to be concerned about.

Davy gone

Puts pressure on Lohan and Kiely at the weekend.

Why is that?

James Hickey to make the step up. Would make sense to go with the boot room approach after Davy cleaned up the mess from Cahill

He’s gone, so he is.

It might tempt Brendan Cummins and allow Woodlock step up to the Tipp 20’s.

But all eyes point towards Doon really…

An unquantifiable loss for the Amber filling station on the Bansha Rd in Tipp town. Lay-offs surely coming.

Maybe the Ballygunner brains trust could be coaxed into taking it.

The Waterford County Board are flat broke so god knows what sort of succession planning they have.

I overheard Cummins at the puc fada a few years ago saying that Aviva had no interest in him taking the Waterford job: “they’re more into the rugby these days”

DF now burrowing away towards Galway job. Wants to get Joe Canning on his ticket.

Galway County Board tried very very hard to get Henry to stay.

Henry gone?

What was he insinuating there? I wouldn’t have thought of Waterford as a big rugby county at all. Bar Jack O’ Donoghue they’ve hardly produced a rugby player of note and they don’t even have many rugby schools. Davy got Donners involved in some kind of consultancy role last year alright. Presumably to do card tricks.
