Frankie Walsh (RIP) and Larry Guinan were still young when they were old. Larry Could do push ups on one hand in his 70s and Frankie was as much fun as anyone youâd meet to have a pint with up to the day he died.
Shouldnât bother with Waterford championship. Just give the cup to ballygunner. Plenty of time to prepare county team then.

You never know. Iâd say a few sure things around the country might get caught out this year. Most clubs will be at full strength with lads not traveling abroad or getting injured playing county.

Waterford should be very competitive in a winter championship this year, especially now that TDB will be back.
Liam Cahill should be begging Philip Mahoney to give it one last roll of the dice for 3 months from Oct-Dec.
Probably the best winter hurler in the country over the last 10 years.
