Who is likely to take over though? A complete rebuild is needed and Kilkenny fans are far from patient and will hardly give a new/relatively unproven manager two to three years to rebuild.
Maybe they should look into an outside manager like Davy, he would surely keep them competitive while a local manager is groomed
