St. Jamesā choked again.
what happened ye this time? seemed to be going well again in the group stage.
Fethard should stick to the hurling
management g man. loss of graeme molloy took its toll that and brendan doyle not arriving til 20 mins gone due to a delayed flight.
Conditions were atrocious yesterday and I didnāt bother going over to Wexford Park yesterday 'cos I was watching Celtic so Iām not best placed to commentā¦but I was chatting to one of the St Anneās lads and theyāre in a county semi-final now without actually doing much football training. Is the standard muck or what? Iāve only seen the odd Sars game this year and theyāre clearly top class but Iām concerned about other sides.
Premier Minor Hurling Quarter Final:
Faythe Harriers 3-8 Oulart-The Ballagh 1-8.
Always a pleasure to beat these utter scumbags and the Juveniles are also through to the county semi-final. The higher they build that Opera House, the faster we will run. The more they try to attract kids to āthe artsā, the stronger we become. Because thereās something inside so strong. I know that we can make it but theyāre doing us wrong, so wrong.

Gavin 2 is seething
Spent a couple of hours out in Pirc Charman, home of the mighty Faythe Harriers, this morning.
I must say, the new development will be the envy of the country. Hurling wall, outdoor arena with synthetic surface, new pitches, new club house comprising indoor playing area, 4 dressing rooms, function room, bar, viewing pavilion, treatment, meetings and referee rooms too.
Ah lovely.
All overlooking Wexford Harbour and combined with the new town park, wildlife area, proposed second bridge from Crosstown across the Slaney and joining up with the new road that will go up beyond the hospital and link up with the New Ross road and itās going to be incredibly picturesque and rivalling the Opera House as Wexfordās finest piece of architecture.
'Mon the fooking Harriers.

Have Ye any players? (Any good players?)
Thereās a young lad showing up very well over the summer and is expected to be a future Wexford senior. Remember the name - Larry OāGorman.
Juveniles are playing the county semi-final tomorrow at midday out there against Gorey so feel free to come along.
I know a lot of people are making a weekend of it what with the Wexford Youths/Waterford Utd South East derby taking place in Ferrycarrig Park tonight.
How is Garry Sheahan fairing with the Yoofs this year?
Scored two peaches in the victory away to Shels last week.
It took a while to educate the Limerickness out of him but the hard work is paying off now.
Iāll take this to the LOI thread.
is that new complex to be shared with St.Marys Mauldintown, Volunteers and Starlights too i presume bandage
Not a fooking chance.
I presume you meant Sarsfields rather than Starlights too.
The Sars have their own complex up there now.
Great to see St Maryās Maudlintown lose by a point and miss a penalty in doing so last night. It was like Clonard in the Junior championship all over again. 'Mon the fooking Sars.
Fuck sake.
U16 Hurling Semi-Final: Naomh anna Gorey 1-10 Faythe Harriers 0-8. Not lovely. 0-6 to 0-1 up playing with the breeze and then stopped hurling and went in level at 0-6 each.
Wind picked up after half time and they battled like bastards and were leading 0-8 to 0-7 with about 5 minutes left before one of the lads went clean through and had his shot saved by the 'keeper.
Gorey then got two excellent points to go in front and tagged on a free before breaking downfield in injury time and sealing it with a very good goal.
Cracking display by Colm Heffernan for the Harriers - definitely didnāt deserve to be on the losing team. Some of the Gorey lads were outstanding, especially the way they finished. Good luck to them - they are alright sorts and one of a handful of clubs in Wexford that I donāt despise.
As an aside, the Rapps won the other semi-final and it was good to see Skippy Ruth patrolling the line in a calmer manner than usual.
Any of the New Ross district lads on here know how the fuck Fethard managed to get into a juvenile premier semi-final? A good achievement for them given theyād be more renowned for football, fishing and inbreeding.
Finally, fair dues to anyone who coaches youngsters - some of them are crazy bastards and do the silliest things at the most inopportune times.
Gāwan Askamore!!
Was a veritable Wexford Festival at the sevens in Kilmacud today - Adrian Fenlon, Larry OāGorman, Ger Cushe and Dickie Murphy all there - but nary a Kilkenny person to be seen. Strange stuff.
Cushe is training Kilmacud Crokes senior hurlers this year. Faythe Harriers topped their group and ultimately got knocked out in a penalty shoot-out, I believe.
