Wexford GAA 2012

Lee Chin starts at centre back for Wexford

Embarrassing tactics, option taking and general workrate by Wexford. Shambolic stuff.

Atmosphere looks electric.

Leaving 2 v 2 and Kavanagh and the other lad with a whole half to themselves. No movement up front. This 2-2-2 alignment is obvious to everyone at this stage. Slow, lateral passing. Poor workrate and tracking of runners when they break. Fucking shit.

Agreed mate. We could get absolutely opened up in the second half.

Ryan spoke the other day about how they have been working on the defence and said they were going to be water-tight.
Hard to see what they worked on or what the plan was.

The Wexford lads seem very small both in height and muscle relative to Longford.

Ger Canning is some fucking ape “Quinn living”

Maybe he shouldn’t be a half back?

The goal has completely changed the run of play here

They haven’t let any water through monkey to be fair. Should have shipped another goal there.

Wexford are badly missing the calming presence of Andreas Doyle this afternoon

Ha ha!

We are having to hit great scores just to stay in touch and We look like (and are) getting opened up nearly every time they attack.

Nice bit of Bling about PJs new 'do.

Good lad Tierney

Draw a fair result but Wexford let that slip needlessly

What the fook was that?!?!? Almost looked like we played to give them a draw at the end. Shocking.

Ref did buy that “tumble” from the Ginger though

Collins played for a draw. If it was a free then it was a penalty.

Thought extra time was back for provincial games before semis.

That was ridiculous. There was so much wrong with that. We need to forget about football and get behind Liam Dunne.

didnt think he even reached the penalty box appendage? didnt think it was a free, but refs will always give them, and it was our own fault for fooking up with possession and not keeping it properly.

thought there was extra time too.

usual issues though against defensive sides, we just dont look like we can break them down. inside forwards making runs, but players not letting it long into space. eliminates the opposition funneling back.
