The lads I know from North Tipp always maintained that Tommy and Benny were always more than capable of dishing it out at club level. Aside from Benny rush of blood in the 2010 final I can’t recall either of them doing anything reckless on at I/C level

In fairness to Tommy & Benny, they had to take some serious shit playing club hurling. Of course they could dish it out too. But Tommy imo is still one of the most stylish hurlers i have ever seen play the game. He tried to play the game the right way a lot of the time.
