O’Brien reshuffling the same pack a bit and bringing in Michael O’Regan.
I hope he’s managed to shed about 2 stone since I saw him in Kiltoom a month ago.

The acid test for this young Wexford team, game is hardly being televised?
Or at the very least is @gaamad1996 making the trip, leaving or no leaving I cannot endure spratt.
I’ll post up how well the limerick players did and you can use that information to infer how much they cleaned out their respective markers.
Interesting test tomorrow against Limerick. Performance is more important than result. First and foremost, we need to secure that top four spot to ensure a quarter final place so the two wins already on board were welcome. Winning 1B isn’t imperative as the league will be restructured again for next season anyway. And you have to acknowledge that Limerick are a typical winter/spring mullocking type of team and we’re injury decimated.
But it’ll give us a guide as to how our squad building is progressing at least. We were fine last year from 1-4 and 13-15 with the likes of Moore, Waters, Guiney, Jacob and Morris operating in these positions. The returning Matthew O’Hanlon is a strong replacement for Waters but it’d be great to have a defence with them both present. However, it was that crucial middle sector where we need to develop options.
Good to have Chin concentrating on hurling fully. Jury’s out as regards his best position but we lack other centre back options for tomorrow with Shore, Kenny and Kehoe all absent. Does Chin hold centre enough or would his athleticism ultimately be best served in midfield? We’ll see how this plays out as time evolves - wing back might also give him more freedom to excel.
Great to have Diarmuid O’Keeffe back in the squad too. A seriously classy hurler to strengthen midfield and Ian Byrne and Shane Tomkins add very good half forward line options also. We’ll also have Oulart duo David Redmond and Garrett Sinnott back to provide competition in these areas in the coming weeks.
A pretty good side is emerging if we can get most of our best 15 on the pitch but I’m looking more for structure of our play and resolve tomorrow.

Getting your excuses in early
Beautiful sunny day in the capital. T-shirt weather.
But it seems to be dark and pissing rain in Limerick (I’m looking in its direction from Birdhill).
I won’t whinge about it though, unlike the Limerick supporters in Wexford Park in 2009.
Watch your pockets today. People are looking out for you, a good sized hat might help.
@Mark Renton, any sign? In section 105 and he’s not here anyway, I’d have seen the forehead, that’ll narrow down the search as you’re rambling around with your hammer.
I’m gone now, having a lovely pint and chowder in the curragower. Nice try, Bandage, but there were some nice young Wexford ladies near by who couldn’t keep their eyes off me or my beard.
Oh, the football team wags probably. They’ve moved to near where we’re sitting now. Their high pitched squealing in support of their men isn’t annoying at all.
They had wags written all over them alright, some of your boys as obviously neglecting the physical side of their relationship the way they lustfully drooled over me.
