Anyone else think the kids were asked to leave the pitch at half time due to Sky? It’s normal practice for them to request that kids don’t play on the pitch at half time because of cuntish parents that use it as an opportunity to bring insurance claims.
I’ve often heard the announcer thank the sponsors too.
Is it just me or are those Off The Ball pieces on the Indo a complete pile of shite? A few paragraphs from Diarmuid or Colm, a bit of cross pollination for Denis and off you go.
I haven’t much more to add on the performance of last weekend other than:
Shore is a weak link at centre, no discipline to his play, a bit of a headless chicken.
and 2. It’s nice to be in a position where we lost a game because we played shit and not because we are shit.
I’d like to get either Tipp or Galway in the qualifiers *
A disappointing loss to Dublin for our minor hurlers today. From the 15th minute on, Wexford nudged ahead but fell behind in the dying seconds of the game. Some of our main men didn’t perform to their best. Fatigue near the end of the game cost us dearly. Even though they struck some poor shots in the first three games, accuracy was improved on today. This time Dublin outnumbered Wexford’s misses by 14-to-10. Our goal threat didn’t materialise again. Out of four games, the only goal we got was claimed by Niall Hughes in the Meath game. Dublin were stronger under the puck-outs. Rian McBride and Dónal Burke were good in midfield for Dublin. Con O’Callaghan posed a lethal threat at times but he was kept at bay by Conor Firman. For Wexford, Darragh Pepper played well and Joe Coleman was steady on the frees for the first three-quarters. The full-back line was strong (Ben Edwards, Michael O’Brien, Conor Firman). Darragh Hughes was in goal and pulled off a remarkable save in the second half. Other than that, he wasn’t really tested. Disappointing not to get the result but it was a terrific display and one that deserved a win.
A great game of hurling though, very enjoyable.
Final Score: Dublin 0-17 Wexford 0-16. Kilkenny won the other semi-final at the expense of Laois. The score there was 1-21 to 0-16.
We need to prevent Dublin making us their hurling bitches. The manner of that minor defeat is pretty disappointing (conceding last three scores to lose by one).
U21 hurling at home to Offaly on Wednesday evening too.

Is that on Tg4?
I’d like to get either Tipp or the losers of the Kilkenny v Galway replay in the draw.

Sides from the same province are kept apart in the first phase of the qualifiers. One of Antrim or Laois will be in the Munster pot to make it 4 teams in each
Tony O’Keeffe drew all the Munster teams out at home after Michael Duignan initially picked two teams without opening them and placed them into a separate bowl for Tony to select. Where’s this Tony chap from?
