He was in school in Peters in the mid-late 90’s as far as I’m aware. Probably crossed paths with both of you during that time. Did his leaving sometime between 96 and 98 I think. Buffers Alley connection would make sense. The guy I know who knows him is from Coolgreany which is where I was getting mixed up.

I feel I had to make an appearance here to voice my annoyance at the utterly foolish behavior of the gaa brass in handing out 48 week bans. Backwards the association is going.

It’s totally disproportionate for such a petty thing. I would have let it go were it me who made these decisions. These rules regarding this area are 19th centuryesque and should done away with. Players should be allow play whatever sport they want whenever they feel like it. A stupid mess really.

If it wasn’t for me breaking my silence here and speaking out on the matter a couple of weeks ago Andrew would not have got off with this. The least I could do for hurling man.
