Myself and Bandage Senior will take them please, pal. I’m ignoring the forecasted torrential rain coming across Ireland from noon onwards and plan to wear my Wexford GAA cargo shorts and either my Wexford jersey or polo shirt. You’ll recognise my massive forehead too.

Just on the outskirts of Belfast, chaps. Joining the M1 to the north before picking up the road to Derry. Avoiding the staunch loyalist villages by going the motorway route. Looking forward to arrival in Owenbeg - it’s meant to be a smashing setting.

I sent my aul lad on the same route, I’d usually do the long driving so easier just to send him on one motorway to join another and straight on through to Dungiven.

Leinster Intermediate Hurling Final tomorrow night in Portlaoise, Wexford v Galway.

Seámus Murphy is in charge of Wexford. Liam Dunne apparently used 28 players in our 3 senior games and we’re not using lads already in the U21 set up. Not sure what purpose this team serves if there’s no link between senior and U21 with a different management too.

Galway beat Kilkenny already. Anthony Cunningham is in charge apparently and the squad is an extension to the senior set up.

FYI Information: Galway comfortably defeated Wexford in the Leinster Intermediate Hurling Final last midweek.
