replace âyoung forward thinkingâ with âcheapâ
I donât think the style of play reflected his forward thinking too much.

that too. Although I was talking to people on the selection committee for his appointment and they said he was the best person for it, spoke well and looked to be the most forward thinking candidate. Was talking to one of them again recently and said that he has to go.
If they do go and change both/one of the managers, I wonder will they set up similar committees to before and let them decide or will a new chairman take up the mantle himself and just do what he wants?
Hard to call. A precedent has been set, somewhat, but we all know that means fuck all in the GAA. I was very optimistic when Power came on board but it seems that he is a chaps manager trying to manage men.
Be lucky enough to get away with just doing what you want in this day and age.
The problem here is that everyone coming in for an interview will promise the sun, the moon and the stars so any selection committee can really only go on that. Due to that I reckon that youâre correct in saying theyâll go with Flannery or Doyle as theyâll reckon theyâre not taking a chance.
What youâd really want in this case is make sure you have a selection committee in place that can weed the spoofers from those who realise the challenge at hand and the obstacles that theyâll face in trying to achieve their goals.
The last think we want is another Colm Bonnar.
Will Liam Griffin be on the selection panel I wonder?
A lot of speculation on my part as to who the next manager will be when our current one is still in position.
To be fair itâs warranted after the shit that went on at the start of the year plus Dunneâs comment to Newstalk after the game yesterday.
Power is being kept Iâm sure because he has brought two Leinster intermediate titles. Plus he has brought in a good few young players. Itâs a real transition period, nobody could have foreseen Graeme Molloy going after he growing into one of the best midfielders in the country. It may be a while till we see this team come on but Iâm sure they will. Extremely unlucky not to get promoted this year.
He wont be back, he hasnt accepted the offer.
Ah. Well that scuttles that so.
They werenât unlucky. They had two relatively testing games - away to Antrim and Louth - and needed to win one of them to get promoted but they were deservedly beaten in both games.
midfielders?
it is a transition period alright, but he had a good U21 team and lost at home to a shit Westmeath team. and they werent unlucky not to go up. They lost to Louth and Antrim. Nothing unlucky about it and even had a couple of lucky wins themselves. They didnt deserve to go up and really should have.
And considering what Panther TM was saying about him I cant see how he could come back when one of his players is going on like that.
I thought at the start of the year Panther was saying he was retiring, no ?
dont know. Sure he said he was retiring if Aidan O Brien got the job when he took over. Regardless, it wouldnt sit right with me to go back to a team with someone who had been on it mouthing like that. If he is thinking that way, then others would be as bad. And I do know others are that way. Another player told me to back Fermanagh as Wexford hadnt a hope.
Snap.
Thanks for passing the info along, cunts
Quisslings
itâs posts like this that stop me passing on information to you.
You are very mean sometimes.
it hardly came as a shock to you that Fermanagh would win that one? FFS sake.
Only sometimes?
Itâs only Division 4 football, chaps. Can we get back to hurling chat please?
