It’s pissing rain. I’m thinking of backing out. New Ross was a mud bath last January for a sparsely attended Walsh Cup game. It’ll be very messy today. Why can’t they have an all-seater covered stand all around the pitch?
Or why not play the game where there is a 5,000 capacity covered stand?

there was a pretty huge queue and traffic issues and then issues getting into the ground for the intermediate A final that was on in Ross last year. This time around, they are not letting cars park in the grounds and they have the same set up whereby you have to go to a hole in the wall to buy a ticket and then go in through the turnstile beside this to get it. In this weather, it’ll be a disaster!
