Wexford GAA 2017 - Gorey Gorey, the Messiah is still here!

Go ross. The other group is 4/6 Wexford but who cares.

Well seeing as that’d be my interest, then yes, who cares?

Which of starlights or Castletown will you claim as Wexford district?

Potential come from behind victories about to be blown against Leitrim and Limerick. We could be about to mug off 75% of the board in a 5 minute period.

Hurlers win 1-14 to 14.

Footballers win 16 points to 14.

A pity we’ve no team playing Cork today to really round things off.

Good second half from footballers considering down to 14 men, but had wind.
Some lovely scores from PJ Banville and Ciaran Lyng.
Fair achievement to our score Leitrim by 5 in second half.
Bitterly cold.
We go again

Who was sent off for us, pal?

James Stafford after about 25 mins.
Didn’t see what it was for, based on linesman recommendation.
Say Banty has no time for those busy linesmen getting involved.

Good match,in tough conditions.Just thawing out.First half was poor, getting caught in possesion, giving away scores directly.Eoin Moore and Fanning were outstanding.Podge Doran and Harry Kehoe made a difference when they came on.Chin and Mac did well.Morris had a diificult match.Great to get the win and there was a good buzz in the Park.

Report on the football match below, great result considering Leacy didn’t start and Brosnan and Kehoe went off injured in first half. Next match is against the table toppers, Waterford… http://www.leitrimobserver.ie/news/sport/234956/wexford-rally-to-deny-leitrim-shock-victory.html

What happened to colm Kehoe? went off at half time, we wouldn’t have great options around the middle of the park

Don’t recall anything, but the extreme cold could have played havoc with my memory and or eyesight.

I think we finish with Westmeath at home and Carlos away so these next three games really need to be won (Waterford, Wicklow, London).

Some lovely pictures of the St James’ GAA club dinner dance in the Wexford People this morning.

Who are the West Brits not facing the tricolour ?

I’d like to think Banty is

Maybe there was two flags?

That’s pretty much promotion secured by mid February after Davy’s text book diversion. I’m not too bothered about winning the league outright but I’d take promotion, Leinster and the All Ireland as a treble of sorts. Well done and keep it going, boys.:+1:
