Mi Note 10 lite
where’s that bud?
Bit over budget but serious specs for that price

While I agree there is good value to be had in the chinese brands (Xiaomi) for example. There is a bit of a risk in that if you drop it and the screen smashes. You’ll be on your own with regards getting it fixed.
Not many of the phone repair shops will have the parts needed compared to a Samsung / iPhone.
Something to keep in mind.
I have the mi note 10 ,this is the sane phone, bit much cheaper, smaller camera, but still great
I’m on the Huawei P20 lite which has served me well. Some good value in basic Huaweis out there, but I dunno if I want the Chinese to be getting all me data. If they could hack into the TFK fun run spreadsheet, we’d be fucked.
I haven’t had a phone without some kind of Otterbox on it for eight years. I haven’t smashed a screen in eight years.
TBH I’ve had them all, and loads of mi( xiaomi) they all take your data, as does Google etc
108 mp on the mi note 10,superamoled , mid range processor
Otterbox are worth an investment. Never smashed a screen.
I did break the otterbox on my work phone trying to display how unbreakable they were though
A glass screen protector is the best investment you’ll make for a phone.
Curved screen like mine needs but really hard to get a decent fit
I got the defender over in Canada years ago
I was so impressed with it that I used to throw the phone against walls to demonstrate to everyone that they should have one!
Got my son the same, serious bit of kit, chastity belt
Just stretch a little to get this. It’ll be faster than other phones and no bloatware
There’s also the issue of sharing all the info on your phone with the PLA
It’s a bit out of my budget this time mate. The closer I can be to 200 euro the better. I’m not overly fussy.
Ok. I’ll get back to you later. What’s the most important feature?
I’m not overly fussed. Relatively decent camera, relatively decent storage. Don’t need anything too fancy. The yoke I have has been the finest for me (the P20 Lite)
