What mobile phone do you have?

Yes, it seems they have only 3 experts on the phones.

Ah they caught me a beaut. I admit defeat. I changed over to a great plan a month ago. See above. Great advice from one of their EXPERTS.

Seems on this new plan you can only top up using the 3 website. If you top up using a bank website or other the credit gets used straight away. You must use the website for the promotion. Unfortunately I missed that in the fine print.

These are the texts they’ve been sending me to lure me in to a false sense of security. Well I’m out of 3 as soon as I can. But I admit it, I was caught a beaut.

Who next I wonder…

Got one of these SIMs on the way. €8 a month. Job is oxo

Unreal. €8. It’s nearly for free. Except it’s €8.

Sounds too good to be true.
Which network are they leapfrogging on?

Three

Looks like I just brought down the Vodafone website.

1 month contract. What could possibly go wrong

When you change providers these days, do they need to send you out a new sim?

I think so, yes.

Makes sense, but I haven’t even got a confirmation email from them yet. My old network is gone dead though, so something is happening.

Are you sure it’s not that great radio wave bunker you’ve built so you can walk around in comfort without a tinfoil hat ?

I’m fairly sure. I’m not gone that bad yet.

Met an ould lad the other day after the match. Asked him for his mobile number. 90+ he said he’ll hardly bother with one at this stage. It’s hard to do anything without one though these days. As I can testify since going offline yesterday.

Why did you ask him for his number? Trying to worm your way into his will?

if memory serves they have to port your number within a certain timeframe once they receive the request. most operators say dont make the request til youve got your new sim…

I’ll wait patiently. Funny I got no confirmation email though.

He’s from Mayo. Not a hope…

My oul fella is even on WhatsApp now.

Hi guys.

My mother signed up to a contract 12 days ago in a Vodafone store. It doesn’t suit her because the coverage is very poor where she lives and there is another provider with unreal coverage. Typical Irish brand inertia.

Is she entitled to cancel it without cost?

All of my research indicates that the cooling off period only applies to stuff not bought in store.

She is a lovely person and not at all like me.
