Ah they caught me a beaut. I admit defeat. I changed over to a great plan a month ago. See above. Great advice from one of their EXPERTS.
Seems on this new plan you can only top up using the 3 website. If you top up using a bank website or other the credit gets used straight away. You must use the website for the promotion. Unfortunately I missed that in the fine print.
These are the texts they’ve been sending me to lure me in to a false sense of security. Well I’m out of 3 as soon as I can. But I admit it, I was caught a beaut.
Met an ould lad the other day after the match. Asked him for his mobile number. 90+ he said he’ll hardly bother with one at this stage. It’s hard to do anything without one though these days. As I can testify since going offline yesterday.
if memory serves they have to port your number within a certain timeframe once they receive the request. most operators say dont make the request til youve got your new sim…
My mother signed up to a contract 12 days ago in a Vodafone store. It doesn’t suit her because the coverage is very poor where she lives and there is another provider with unreal coverage. Typical Irish brand inertia.
Is she entitled to cancel it without cost?
All of my research indicates that the cooling off period only applies to stuff not bought in store.
