I’ve started listening to RnaG a bit more recently as well. Irish Radio is so utterly shit right now that I’ve decided my time would be better spent trying to brush up on my chuid gaeilge. There’s a half decent current affairs programme each evening at five, which is a welcome alternative to that trio of cunts, Boucher-Hayes, Cooper and Hook. That fucking Donegal Irish is hard going mind.
I’m starting lessons Friday.
Good man, what sort of level are you starting from?
It’s fucking impregnable. But good idea.
There was an Irish language drama on BBC last week. Actors were not native speakers ( as far as I could tell) so it was easier to follow and pick up sentences and understand.
Neil Prendeville, best remembered for an unfortunate incident on a plane after a feed of drink and some Nurofen, has left Cork’s 96FM to move to Red FM.

She looks just like Gerry Ryan but with smaller tits.
She looks like she already regards The Four Seasons as her canteen.
Nice to see hard work being rewarded in RTE… she must have impressed in that minor entertainment news slot she had.
Great show on apocalypse now just there on Talking History. Full hour of very entertaining radio.
Was coming home from the hospital tonight after 9. Hoped to listen to a bit of sport on Newstalk but there was some shit on called Splanc an Irish language show. So I moved the dial and ended up on a talk show on Classic Hits about Patrick Nulty. Anyway, it was fairly shit until June phoned in. June was giving out about how Irish politicians never resign and then she said that little fuckin half eejih Shatter hahnt de sense to resoign. Cheered me up a bit.
I was listenting to RTE 1 earlier tonight. Around half 6 Irish time. Some “satire” was on, presume it was Olivier Callan. Unlistenable shite. Not funny. Dermot Morgan must be turning in his grave.
That lassie on Phantom on a Saturday night was a great programme. That and Ceilidh house on a Saturday night. And sports on a Sunday with all it’s imperfections. The rest is utter shite.
I didn’t hear it but that’s Callan alright. Paul Galvin was right to hit that cunt a few skelps.
He didn’t hit him enough.
You won’t be hearing that girl any more. Denis has replaced her with a robot.
Yeah I know, It’s a damn shame.
