Whats the best Irish radio station to listen to?

A great friday evening song

Essential listening RTT.

Top tune.

Fisherman Blues.

This Rick O’Shea knows his Friday tunes.

:pint: :pint:

It’s a weird version of it though.

And people wonder why auditors are perceived as not being value for money…

Fuck off Mac

Wahey!

Jesus Farmer,Hot Chip, a bit mainstream for you I would have thought…

fair annoying alrite … he was also 46 during the week and was harping on about it for whatever morning it was

do you actually contribute anything on here or just move from thread to thread just having liitle digs?

As long as your happy I suppose.

Have finally remembered to listen to Terrace Talk on Radio Kerry for the first time ever, has just started. It’s like Off the Ball for people who have their dinner in the middle of the day. Talking about Cork v Down now and has an interview with Eamonn O’Shea of Tipp coming up.

Weeshie! Have some good docs and interviews on Kerry football, if you’re that way inclined.

Off the Ball roadshow on now in Dublin, Dunphy and Giles on. Dunphy talking about transfers and modern day managers, and has just said that Busby was on the take, and is giving his example of it. McDevitt doesnt know what to say.

Anyone giving Radio Nova a listen?

It is aimed at the 30 - 55 yr old market and seriously good music all through the day - Bowie, Dylan, Neil Young, Beatles, Doors, Stones, etc, etc, etc

Every night between 11 and 12 they discuss a classic album. Last night was Rory Gallagher - tonight is Nirvana’s ‘Nevermind’.

Overall a decent alternative to Phantom.

Thanks Phil, really sounds like my kind of station, hope they are online. Are they national or Dublin?

They have the best ad on tv at the moment…

Radio na life on 106.4 plays a truly eclectic selection of music. Top class

Dublin and Dublin commuter belt apparently.

Here is the website for live streaming and you can download some app on to your iPhone also: http://www.nova.ie/

It does indeed. I’m afraid to say I have information that leads me to believe some of their competitions have been fixed but that should not detract from the music they play.

Anyone listening to the Sports Saturday Panels with Ger Gilroy? Think I mentioned them earlier in this thread, but they’re top notch stuff, most notably the latest one which was a study of sports injuries with Dermot Earley, Eanna Falvey who is the Doctor for the Irish Rugby team and former Irish Heavyweight boxer, and Keith O Neill. A great listen.

When it comes to in depth sports analysis, Gilroy knows the score.
