Whats the best Irish radio station to listen to?

You can put it beside the golfball typewriter.

I only bought one last month for the kitchen and had been enjoying listening to RTE Gold on it.

I’ve had a digital radio for years but RTE Gold and Lyric and LBC don’t work on it any more. Must try a factory re-set.

The radio is a joke in this country. They spew pure sh1t one after the other. When 4fm started at their beginning they showed hope but that was it they weren’t long morphing into 2 fm et al. The world is fucked.

Someone needs to tell those Sharp cunts they’re living in the past @Fagan_ODowd

Classic hits is nothing like 2FM, they have stuck to their original foundation of mostly sticking to 70s, 80s, 90s and early 00s.

I heard an ad on RTÉ yesterday saying their digital services have been discontinued please access online etc

Disagree mate. After a promising start 4fm are as bad as the rest now.

Block rockin beats you just can’t bate it.

Very difficult listening to Sarah Harding. Obviously her situation isn’t unique but when it is some high profile it hammers it home.

Shane Coleman just did a Piers Morgan there after Dr Ciara teased him in a segment about Easter Eggs. He’s actually the biggest arsehole in broadcast media.

He listened to her voicemail?

Shay Searson does a brilliant weeknight show on Clare FM 9-11, very enjoyable.

Guy Garvey absolutely knocked it out of the park as I was coming up the M9/M7/N7 today. I’d suspect it was the best radio music show I’ve ever heard.

If Ms Locke and I had a boy we’d have called him Guy. The man is a genius.

Guy has a great show on Sky Arts where he takes a year from the 70s or 80s and goes through his musical highlights, it’s top class

But Elbow are fairly shit :grinning:

Opinions are like arseholes, everyone has one.
