When will you travel abroad again?

@Little_Lord_Fauntleroy wants a word about your carbon footprint

Milan is grand as you said. Florence is worth a visit, siena is gorgeous also and pisa all within 2 hours of Milan and a better visit

I drove for the first time on the ‘wrong’ side this week. In Barcelona. The trip from the airport was terrifying. Makes the M50 a cake walk. Didn’t help my right hand put the gear from 2nd to 4th or 3rd to 6th too often for comfort.

Jammy fucker

Glad you asked our advice before you went and booked it and paid a fortune

Lesson No 1. Always hire an automatic.

I didn’t think you could hire a manual these days.

I’d say you can.

In Spain you can anyway, I don’t recall even being given an option. Have to say I found the change of gears a piece of piss … It’s fairly straightforward after a few minutes.

Aye left it late and there was none available. Even if it was automatic it was an expirence. The traffic light situation is fucked up over too. Light goes green and you turn the corner but pedestrians can still cross with right of way. Lucky I didn’t plough someone over. Madness

I never ask, but I’ve not been given a manual rental in over a decade, albeit with kids you need a bigger car.

I guess I’ll be finding out about the latter soon.

If you’ve ever tried to turn left to go up William Street in Limerick on a Saturday you should be well able for it.
