Just Norn Iron.
Hereâs two guards murdered in the line of duty in Roscommon
As aforementioned, as the son of someone who was very close to rounding that number up to 90, I can confirm he was unarmed. If he was armed, he might have some level of defence against the criminal who he continued to hold onto despite the scumbag stabbing him multiple times in the throat. His partner was able to finally get the knife off the perpetrator. If he didnât, he was a dead man. I wouldnât be an advocate for armed GardaĂ as the norm. The only gun in this particular incident was my uncleâs (non-Garda) shotgun when he heard the news and went marching out the door (quickly talked down from it by all accounts)
By the way, thatâs a ferociously disrespectful and cuntish remark you made about the 89.
This poor garda is only dead because he was carrying a gun. His death will be added to the list of fire-arm deaths and used to justify more gardai carrying more guns and the circle of violence will continue.
Your father sounds like a very brave man, you should be very proud of him.
Just for a bit of context here. Castlerea was possibly the biggest mental hospital in the West of Ireland 20 years ago. Many inmates have been rehoused in outreach facilities in the enviorns of the town. Thereâs a substantial prison/leisure facility adjacent to the town as well. How though, does an armed detective undertake a policing issue more suited to Iâd imagine a squad car on his own?. They oughtnât be short on GĂĄrdai in the sleepy hollow that Castlerea is.
I am. He held the cunt until he was cuffed.
How do you know? Given it was a domestic incident and the man was capable of murder with the gun, I donât see why a stabbing to death or beating him to death with something would be beyond the realms of possibility
Arenât most of the provos informers?
Sure thatâs the start and the end of it. You havenât a clue
He wasnât a Provo.
Youâre a fucking scumbag .
He might have rolled up a magazine like Jason Bourne
Nice sidestep or you clearly didnât read my question
Itâs the same all over the country.
I know a female guard stationed in a large town in the hinterland of Dublin where there would be a significant criminal element. There have been occassions where she might be only guard on duty that night, and the backup station might only have two guards on duty.
Good you can see the funny side of it anyway
It didnât seem to be a question and it also seemed to be irrelevant.
Reality and beyond the realms of possibility is a fairly big stretch.
Where does a Garda getting murdered by his own gun come into the realms of possibility? Which has happened more often I wonder, a Garda murdered by someone stealing his gun or getting stabbed/beaten to death
They guy that killed the detective was mentally unstable and a fairly big guy. He emptyed the gun into the detective and was laughing when he was taken away in hand cuffs⌠The man was mentally unstable and the detective who was on duty try to do his job lost his life. No one deserves to not come home from work and youâve a piece of shit like @Fulvio_From_Aughnacloy try to score points and make little off it. Rip
Fuck off and rebrand for yourself again you tool
