The changed version doesn’t even make any sense.

High babies standard English.

It was useful of Williams to mention the “Anglo Tapes” in his last story, just in case anyone had forgotten how heavily he relies on keeping the Gardaí onside in order to get his stories.

And he mentioned the murder of Veronica Geurin in his piece of shit article yesterday.

Its going to be a long day for Callinan and Shatter…

One of them has to go especially with what Michael Martin said on radio this morning. My money is on Callinan to get the bullet, the behaviour of the Gardai to cover up and twart any investigations into wrong doing by the Gardai has been a disgrace, as for Shatter I can see him be moved in the reshuffle later this year, his handling of this whole debacle has been a disaster from start to finish.

Pretty astonishing stuff on PK this morning

What happened?

Can you post up an outline for those of us who work in the private sector?

Yet you still have the time to post on an Internet forum. I suppose some jobs allow that.

Female taxi driver was assaulted by passenger. She reported matter to gardai who did nothing. Guy who assaulted her went on to murder another woman and gardai brought case against guy without contacting taxi driver. She was fuming and complained repeatedly. Feels guilty about death of the woman.
Mick Wallace says penty of other horrific cases.

I didnt get what was on PK this morning, I heard Michael Martin on Newstalk’s Morning show. The shit is starting to hit the fan now with the husband of the murdered woman now sueing the state.

I think is going to be worse than the Donegal Scandal a few years ago.

I’m in private sector and heard both interviews. :pint:

Garda cover ups and poor diligence coming into the limelight now which will deflect pressure from Shatter to Callinan…

I’m on mid-term and only been working since nine this morning. Nothing to be ashamed of for either of us.

He was a Tipperary animal. Tried to abduct a 5 year old child in the middle of these two crimes also. He was out on bail when he murdered the lady from Sixmilebridge but he wouldn’t have gotten bail had the Gardaí not botched the assualt on the taxi driver. The judge didn’t even know about this offence.

The GardaĂ are the main problem here, not Shatter.

What did martin say?

Reminded of something I read years ago - if you ever do something wrong or are accused then never admit anything and make people jump through every formal hoop possible - rely on natural laziness of people (including Gardai, social workers) to make things go away

Middle class thing is to admit things to curry favour with people in authority. It doesn’t work and is the completely wrong approach if you are ever accused of anything.
