Jesus Christ

Huh?

Martin o Neill had agreed to join Leeds while still at Celtic and the GSOC did nothing. Put that together with what happened to the taxi driver in Cavan and there is definitely a case to answer.

So unless the media keep shaking the tree it looks like there will be no fallout from all of this…

What I find galling is that the media didn’t touch this when Mick Wallace raised the issue a few weeks ago. Nor did they give a sh1te when him and Daly were victims of Garda personelle playing Politics with them.

Now of course they are all on board with the scandal. Typical Eire mentality, until that changes any fall out from this is just window dressing.

In brief summary then did we find out who bugged the office?

Well according to the Minister it was the coffee shop next door.

I see Enda and Eamonn have given Shatter their full backing. That’s it now, move on nothing to see here till the next fuck up.

No.

There is so many issues intertwined here that the average Joe Public is confused and subsequently appears to not give a shit.

  • GSOC bugging
  • Garda incompetence (murder in Limerick)
  • Treatment of Whistle blowers
  • Shatter lying to the dail
  • Sacking of Oliver Connolly
  • Martin ‘Del Bosque’ Callinans Mustache

Wallace is joke shop. It’s not hard to see why he is not taken seriously.

Dont forget kieran boylan

The leaking of information re Wallace and going after Daly (assume not a coincidence and contrast her treatment to Shatter’s asthma) is worrying as it implies a great deal of arrogance and a feeling of being untouchable to go after members of the Dail who cross the GS. It means the average citizen would stop and think before going down such a road as the average citizen is a lot more vulnerable to a campaign or targetting by GS.

The murder of the French lady du Plantier is being investigated by a French magistrate - GS are fighting release of internal GS files on that. Bailey is suing the GS and the State re his arrest. Again one suspects something not quite right happened in that case and two sets of legal proceedings might shine a light on it.

the fact that they are allowing the French to investigate a murder in Oireland isnt quite right in the first place

They refused extradition. Investigation is under French law. They can claim jurisdiction when French citizen killed. Seems bizarre alright.

All pigs are crooked lazy cunts whats new

that case shows once again what is wrong in Ireland, the gardai acted inappropriately & the media decided that Bailey was guilty

Another new development last night with Garda McCabe producing a transcript of the directive issued by Callinan. Its like Watergate now at this stage. John Dean in the role of McCabe, Callinan as Nixon.

Who do the people believe?

This morning, Paul Reynolds spent most of his report trying to classify McCabes behaviour as bizarre and implying that he was a loose cannon.

Paul Reynolds thinks it is incredible that a serving officer in the force would issue a statement to the media. I suppose Paul prefers off the record briefings from unnamed senior officers.

He was seething that McCabe refused to give him a copy of the transcript
