Reports are that the Garda was just driving around on patrol, knew the shooter and saw him acting in a strange fashion, when he approached him to check was he ok, the guy over powered him, somehow got his gun and shot him.

Vast majority of republicans wouldnāt contemplate it,( might be different now but gardai on the border really didnāt hassle republicans too much- Derry Donegal,)thank God,unfair totally, listened to his mate on newstallk earlier, harrowing

Thereās been a few lads on here over the years who I felt could go this way quite easily.
I said it on another thread - but how did your man know how to unlock the safety so handily ?ā would you if you were handed a gun? it would probably take you more than 30 seconds ā had he prior experience I wonder? -
