I caught mention of some senior AGS post being awarded to a lady from the Toronto police force? Positive step youd have to think. Fair play for firstly the awareness to recognise change needs to come from outside the current system. Secondly for not letting pride obstruct making such an appointment.

Is it some type of policy to put these guys in the heart of Irish policing so when the border poll comes they can do some persuading or know who needs to be taken out and locked up when we have our 6 counties back?

Gardai can go for a s12 order but it’s rarely used, they’d normally let the CFA go for an ECO.

You’d have to wonder what risk arose at 3 in the morning. The kids would’ve been terrified seeing cops coming in like that
