The reality is that

  • the County Board has no say in this. They are scared shitless to lose their sponsor

  • Davy Fitz is looking for a way out of Clare without losing face.

if it comes to pass that Davy does get the Limerick job ( and the rumors are that he is strongly in the running) I will never again go to a Limerick match while he is involved.
