That offer stopped in England last week and I can’t see it coming back before xmas

I’ll place an order for ya

You’re staying put for the Christmas?

I was made here so yes. We’re tier 3 so can’t move for a bite to eat never mind a pint

Had a notion you were second-gen alright.

Is there a relaxation of restrictions planned? I’ve half-stopped reading up on covid news

Well 5 days over Christmas you can have 3 bubbles. But can’t see Birmingham coming out of tier 3 so no pubs or restaurants

You’ll surely find a Irish house that will serve a few ‘locals’?

That’ll have to be sourced for next Sunday. If I can get that I’ll be happy

This is very good for €10, I’ll be stocking up with that extra 25% off offer

It’s 25% or more dearer in Ireland in any case.

Yes. Add 50 and take 25 off

Paddy o B that hurled with us worked for wan of the big breweries. They said there was no point trying to learn his trade in Ireland as it was too easy a market to make money in.

19 crimes… Give it a rattle. A lovely fruity Australian red that’s soft on the palette. Was very surprised by it.

I’d never buy a wine with a stupid gimmicky name.
Tbh, I’d never buy an Aussie red. All muck.
Was round at Matty’s just there though and had a lovely American pinot noir. Didn’t get the name :grimacing:

I thought the same when my host opened the bottle… But it was lovely.

Where did you get that? I likes a good primitivo

A lot of it (Aussie red) is muck like anywhere, but there’s also some outrageously good Shiraz and Cab made in South Australia, Barossa and McLaren. The mid range Penfolds are superb wines. A bit heavy admittedly if you prefer lighter reds like Pinot and Spanish reds.
