A lot of people are basically non-functioning the next day. It may not be a hangover, and it’s presumably combined with staying up ridiculously late as a result but there are definitely after-effects.
the fear multiplied by 10
It’s definitely coke nowadays.
Sad to see rural Ireland lowering itself to the level of gurriers and businessmen. Shur they see the parents with the island and notions enter their head.
the horse and hound?
I don’t get that at all. At least with yokes you’d be off your face. Coke generally just makes people a louder more annoying version of themselves
So does drink tbf.
Both turn people into annoying cunts for the most part. Generally offset by being with people in a similar state.
20 quid? They must be getting ground up solpadeine.
When I was in first year in college I’d never seen anything stronger than a joint. A lad I lived with worked in the crescent, he was chatting to a 15 year old guy that pushed trollies working with him who was talking about bush drinking, and the young lad says you’d need a bit of coke when you’re drinking though to sober you up, wouldn’t go without it.
The moose but I’m not sure it’s continued I haven’t been there since the Monday of the 2018 all Ireland I’d say.
I doubt there’s much logic to it at all. Most people I know are better off without spirits but that doesn’t stop them.
I don’t think you’re worried about what other people think of you when langersed or coked up… which I think is the point of taking it/doing it in the first place
Have alcohol sales fallen in US and Canada where they have legalised marijuana?
If people want to alter their mood and don’t have time for a reformer Pilates class they are going to take or drink drugs of their choice
I’d say people who are very drunk are the most dangerous to themselves and others. A heavy night drinking can destroy a life with a moment of madness.
has the moose an early license or would he just open up to a knock? I know the office used to open early before it got all fancy
Can take a lot of people a long time to figure things that don’t suit them in fairness. I remember a lad from school always wanting fights any time he drank, couldn’t handle it all.
agreed, you don’t lose control of your body with coke. Mix both though and it’s a fucking lethal recipe to be fair
Drink is great in moderation but it’s often forgotten how lethal it is
if you’ve ever had the misfortune to be in A&E late on a Saturday night, early on a Sunday morning to see the carnage caused by it, an eye opener
The Irish just cant control themselves … a totally repressed nation that needs substances to let go.
I suspect that in the medium to long term, cocaine is just as bad as drink, or worse. It seems to be to young ones now like smoking fags was back in the day. A bit of an illicit thrill, and only bad for others.
