Had it last week for the first time. Slightly sore throat, high temp, runny nose, slight cough. Pretty much a cold. Had worse colds to be honest. I was up and about with this no problem. The odd cold/flu in the past has had me bed ridden before.

Was lined up for a night of lovely pints with the work crew tonight. Positive antigen this morning. My TFKing will be through the roof for the next week.

I havenāt tested positive yet but Iām still convinced that I āhad somethingā when I came back from my jaunt around the continent last September. Test came back negatory though.

We have not had a positive in our house despite me working out for pretty much the entire two years, having junior cchas working out, in college, socialising and sports, and Mrs ccha out working for a lot of it as well.
Super-healthy. I started a thread on that some years back.
Is that a serious question? Any idea how he caught the virus that about half if not more of the country has had at this stage?

A lot of cases Iām hearing were brought home from crĆØche or primary schools where cases are still happening.
So yeah a simple question.

@caulifloweredneanderthal what prompted you to take the antigen test? Since omicron Iām not concerned about indirectly killing somebodyās vulnerable grandparent so weāve been avoiding taking tests and sending the kids into crĆØche with barking coughs and runny noses.

Little wan home sick from pre-school all week. Negative tests so far but weāve yet to do one today. It involves bribery of some sort.
I donāt really work from home, bar on Fridays. I work in a place where there have been numerous cases since the return to work so I suppose there was a sense of inevitability unfortunately.
I got some mild symptoms yesterday, so between everything, I said Iād test before going to work today (also as the aforementioned pints were planned for tonight and my folks were due up tomorrow for a weekend). I share a quite small, poorly ventilated office with one other person, so I wouldnāt have gone in without a test

Obviously Iām unsure of your parents situation,
we took them last week because we were visiting the in-laws, bioth around 80 and in good enough health. But my FIL farms alone and heās trying to avoid it at all costs,
Different people have different reasons obviously, some people may choose to self isolate and thatās their business as well.
But if your little fella has or had it youāll most likely pick it up as well, and youāll know you have it if itās anything like mine.
I assumed all along that weād had it in the house because we were never great to take precautions and weāre all out all the time, in schoolrooms that have been riddled, but i was wrong
