Youâd hope that since Covid hit nearly 3 years ago weâve significantly increased our ICU capacity.
Any numbers on that ?

Lolz, stick to Irish history.
From the man who championed dewormer.
Its great for deworming to be fair.
And vitamin d. Vitamin d alone would have made it a mild flu year. But you addicts and your new religion.
The vaccine was the game changer. Lads with certificates in Irish history may tell you otherwise but hopefully youâre wise to them.
âŠaye. Definitely a game changerâŠa compulsory treatment that doesnât work particularly well
Hard to believe youre a grown adult⊠The vaccine you had to take 5 times was a game changer? Youâd have another 5 shots of it in you only for the virus mutated into a much weaker disease as it transmitted. The virus was / is a game changer for the elderly and thatâs about the size of it - it made no difference to the majority of healthy people.
Apologies to @Malarkey
Youâre right- there arenât any âexcess deathsââŠin Sweden. Everywhere else seems to be getting hit pretty badly though
Again youâre missing the point. The pour isnât that they are a shining beacon or anything like that, the point is that they didnât have a lockdown and still managed relatively ok.
Your understanding is quite limited.
The vaccine definitely helped for people who needed it. Especially early on.
Just because more died in New York than Texas does not mean Texas did ok. Both were shockingly high. New York was the epicentre of the outbreak in the US. Italy was the epicentre in Europe.
And what about all the other states that did worse than them? If lockdowns genuinely worked there would be a tangible gap between those that had them and those that hadnât.
The hick states probably had no restrictions. They were the worst performers.
Basically everywhere had some form of restrictions.
Outside of the initial New York bit, the biggest variable was relative vaccination levels. Lots of needless deaths in the US after the vaccine arrived.
Hard to disagree really
