You are still stuck arguing about Covid Part 6 of infinite (Part 7)

Second go round with this, low on energy and a bit of a cough, going to see santy later on but it’s outdoors apparently , we were gonna visit the elderly grandparents beforehand which is why my missus asked me to take a test, probably should have done it a few days ago because of the job I do but thought it was just a cold obviously

Poor timing from you. The father in law got covid the first day of the world cup and sat in the sitting room watching every game for two weeks, with his meals brought to him. Absolute winner. He kept throwing out tests with the faintest line on it telling them he had to stay. Eventually one of the daughters checked the guidelines and told him he was only meant to do 7 days… hed done over 10…

Wouldn’t suit me, I can’t hack being cooped up at all, doesn’t matter what’s on,

Maybe red zone actually

Id be the same but if i had to do it, itd be at a time of wall to wall world cup.

I’m starting to think this vaccine isn’t all its cracked up to be

Well I haven’t had any boosters but even still I feel fine,

No boosters? Surely you’ve a responsibility to wider society?

What are you on about now?

Shouldn’t people be getting vaccinated in order to prevent transmission?

If you say so, don’t worry about me, do your own thing

Folks can’t do their own thing though. This is everyone’s responsibility

The lads who were demanding that the poor uninjected nurses should be sacked are now advocates of personal freedom. It’s quite something to see.

I had my initial injection while we were dealing with a very different virus, hard to believe that lads don’t realise that :man_shrugging:

So why are you steering clear of the grandparents?

Jesus wept,
My father in law is in his 80s and runs a large enough dairy farm by himself, I f do not think he’d appreciate me rocking up with a contagious virus, my mother in law is also in her 80s and could do without it as well
Hard to believe this needs vindicating

So its as we were. A virus thats of danger to the elderly etc. Thanks for the clarification
(You should probably get your boosters)

What a strange conversation

You should really apologise to the two boys for moving on from covid. It’s important to recognise the real victims here

You don’t need vindicating. You’re taking responsibility and doing the right thing. Making your own choice as an adult.
