Cork v Tipperary

Canning not particularly good in the air? He isnā€™t that slow either

You have to be able to get out in front of your man to cause them problems. Horgan usually canā€™t

Since when is canning not good in the air?

Usuallyā€¦

The main issue with Horgan IMO is his application. He just never really seems that up for games although in the AI replay against Clare in 2013 he had a fine game. Against KK the same year he was good in Thurles. And more recently in Cork v Tipp in the League again he had a good game.

When his head is right & the supply is good he is as dangerous a forward as whatā€™s around.

Those saying heā€™s slower than the likes of Callinan or Canning are dreaming.

Iā€™ve heard you mention a few times at this stage that you think Callanan is slow and Iā€™m going to have to pick you up on it, he was an absolute rocket in his younger years and is still fairly fast. Heā€™s always out in front of his man and constantly moving. Both he and Canning are also at stronger than Horgan as well

This.

Your not given cork any chance?

Zero.

Iā€™ve rarely seen Canning catch a puckout for Galway.

Colin Ryan was a bit like that. Not as skillful as Horgan but very talented all the same. Couldnā€™t make any impact at corner-forward at all. Wasnā€™t slow but wasnā€™t fast enough in what he did to survive there at senior intercounty level. Moving him out the field transformed him. He had the hurling and he had the brains for it. And he thrived on being involved in games rather than being on the fringes. If Horgan canā€™t make a living on the 21 the only hope for him is bringing him out into a more central role. But if he canā€™t do that either then he is kind of fucked.

You must not watch much of them so

Iā€™m not saying heā€™s weak in the air, but if he was strong in the air they would have left him at full-forward. Heā€™s become a float around and get onto loose ball player. Heā€™s not a target man. Joe Rabbitte and Joe Cooney were target men.

The Rock sounded quite bullish with Brian Carty just now, heā€™s given me a glimmer of hope that Cork can keep the score down to 10 points or so, he was really confident.

I did not say Callanan is slow. I said that those saying Horgan is slower than him are dreaming.

Flute.

Heā€™s been moved out because every team double marked him at full forward. Do we need to post clips of his high catches and goals for you?

Horgan is much slower than him. Iā€™ve definitely seen you call Callanan slow before on here

Post some clips of him catching some puckouts at centre-forward, which is the topic of the conversation.

Thatā€™s the nail on the head

He is, in a good team where you can afford to carry a luxury forward. Would he get in the Tipp team?

Are tip too cocky
