The European Commission is proposing vaccine certs only last 9 months then should need a booster to be operable. I wonder how many European countries are offering boosters to all adults so far? A good few I think. In Ireland NIAC will probably have to consider it for another few months. Just open up the mass vaccination centres again and lash them out so we can temporarily go back to normal again for another little while.

The battle is over mate, the virus won. Over 90% of adults in the UK and in Ireland have antibodies to Covid. The great majority of western governments have been unable to stop or even slow the spread of Covid and have essentially given up. Once the majority of adults have been vaccinated or have had Covid itâs time to move on and stop listening to the scaremongering headbangers. With boosters and antivirals the elderly and vulnerable are at much lower risk than 2020/early 2021.
Unless a variant emerges that causes a more serious disease with a higher CFR, there will be no going back to lockdowns. This SA variant is just more scaremongering from Independent SAGE who are desperate to remain relevant.

2,465 cases in South Africa, up from 1,275 yesterday and 275 cases on November 16th. This looks like the real deal, the nightmare scenario.
This could easily be ripping through us before Christmas if governments donât act.
And the question of whether governments act is a rhetorical one.
Even if they did act it might do nothing to stop it. Itâs probably already in Europe.

The National Public Health Emergency Team has recommended the wearing of masks for primary school children from 3rd class upwards.
The move will be reviewed in mid-February.
It has recommended that children aged nine and over wear masks on public transport, as well as in retail and other public settings where the rule currently applies for those aged 13 and over.
NPHET is also proposing that children avoid community gatherings for at least the next two weeks, including communions, nativity performances and other comparable seasonal events.
It has also proposed that indoor birthday parties, sleepovers and play dates are avoided, however small numbers could attend such events outdoors.
The missus was told by someone working for HSE that weâre only halfway into a 4 year cycle.
They claimed that all pandemics take 4 years to work themselves out or to less a virulent disease
