Scott is simply outstanding, there are very few that can cut to the chase so well on human behavior. Note that he is a Trump explainer, not a Trump supporter, a distinction lost on the idiot general public.

Impartial and unbiased moderation, I wonder will it catch on?

We can only hope. Never thought I’d be saying the words @ChocolateMice, the voice of reason.

Lying at least 80 times in 28 days, mostly in blatant fashion, is anything but standard fare for a politician.

And that’s only the last four weeks we’re talking about. Trump has been lying and simply making up in exactly the same fashion since he declared his candidacy.

Not standard fare at all - standard fare for tinpot dictators and demagogues perhaps, which is why it’s no surprise that Mugabe, Putin and Duterte all love Trump.

The United States of America is the ultimate example of uncontrolled immigration and yet you claim it to be the greatest country in the world.

I find it amusing to see the faux shock at a politician not telling the truth.

The darling of the liberals, Barrack Obama, lied repeatedly during his presidential election campaigns, and again when in office. He lied about not looking for new dragons to slay, or words to that effect, and yet he actively engaged in new military offensives in countries such as Syria, Lybia, and Somalia. The US military appear to have been involved in offensives in more countries by the end of Obama’s second term than when he took office initially.

He also lied about not raising taxes, he lied about where his political donations came from, he lied repeatedly about Obamacare (do you remember the porky about the Illinois man that died (he didn’t) because insurers delayed treatment?), etc. The man is a politician. And he made shit up on the spot. This is standard practice for politicians. It would be remiss of someone purporting to be an expert on US politics to think otherwise.

Its not the fact that he lied, it didnt appear to be a lie. it was the fact that he seemed grossly misinformed and was taking his information from the media that he was decrying. Hes the CIC FFS, he shouldn’t be getting intelligence from Fox News anyway.

Anyway, it was initially believed that it was misinformation, but I’ve since been assured that he was lying. To what end lying about an attack is Sweden helped him, has yet to be made clear, but it will be fascinating to see this one play out.

He’s doing a fine job, but, like Howard K. Smith moderating between Gore Vidal and William F. Buckley Jr., it could go tits up in a flash.

A lot to answer here.

Moth is correct, they all lie. The question is what is the impact of the lies. Whether there were or were not WMDs in Iraq? Serious lie. A million dead.

An attack or not in Sweden? Not so big lie. Nobody died but point made.

Look at the likes you attract and reflect on your life.

@Sidney
It is the greatest country in the world. How long it remains so remains to be seen. Immigration will have a lot to do with the outcome. Time will tell.

Watch the Scott Adams post referenced earlier.

I’m only attracting the greatest, the best. We are winning this debate bigly, anyone who says otherwise is fake news.

Scott Adams is a fucking nut. He draws lovely cartoons and has been he workplace off to a tee. But he is a fucking nut.

Dont worry, this post here is the trifecta, nae, the superfecta, replying to, posted by, and liked by.
