Ah. The Wexford lads are too classy to make blatant fools of themselves like the Limerick lads do.
in other words, weâre just not box office
Weâre too smart for our own good sometimes.
Iâll admit my last few posts on this thread have backfired on me big time.
Apologies to all concerned.
North End beat Pilke Rovers after penalties in FAI junior cup final .
I passed through Killane at the weekend. The Rackard homestead is a sorry looking sight now.
Marfield House in Gorey?
Bumped for Wexford folk⌠Itâs a dirty weekend.
Loch German Arms would be more suited to clientele like your good self.
Yes, it is in Gorey
Iâm part of the groomal party for a wedding there later this year.
Restaurant is smashing. Good deal on taste.ie at the moment for 1 night B&B + dinner.
Nice spot, you could drop a few quid on sea field either
Cheers pal ⌠Edgy Mac couldnt just help a bro out - this is why youâre liked and he is detested around here.
Itâs only alright. On the other hand if you are the type who is impressed by waiters bringing your dinner with the big silver silver dome over the plate and doing the big reveal you will absolutely love it.
Depends what type of break youâre looking for. Marfield doesnât have a pool or spa or anything like that. Iâd suspect youâd enjoy Seafield more although service levels and food are poor there.
@Mac is Seafield in NAMA? I stayed there a few weeks ago and was disappointed with it. It felt a bit tired and needs investment. They only have one elevator which made it a nightmare to cart baby equipment in and out. The spa was excellent though. It should really be cleaning up, one hour south from the most affluent area in the country (excluding Fingal) and little or no competition on the east coast south of Dublin.
@anon61878697, is it a Blue book voucher youâre trying to use? If it is, go for the cliff House in Ardmore instead. More superior in every way. Marlfield is nice but not exactly the type of place you feel comfortable lounging around in every day. Food is nice but overpriced.
@briantinnion, it was anyway but not sure whoâs running it now. Itâs gets huge crowds coming down from Dublin on spa weekends before descending on Goreys boutique boulevard. Would never strike me as a place to stay with kids to be honest. You should try Druids Glen if you want a place with proper kids facilities and excellent staff.
great recommendation. Noble place
Great spot for a smoked salmon socialist like @anon61878697 to burn through a grand in jig time.
Mrs OâSullivan is paying - what do I care âŚ
