Throw up a picture of her and I will let you know.
One thing cheating on the wife. But if you skip training you are cheating on yourself.
Know a guy from Cork who lived in Israel working for one of the big semi conductor companies. He married a bird out there and they have a kid. Said the place is bat shit crazy and they ended up moving back to Ireland. The wife is nuts though and there’s a fair chance she’ll stab him some night when he’s passed out after a few cans and flee back to Israel with the child.
just back home it was like 2003 there again today towards the end, magical scences in the old stand, we havent had too many memorable moments in the last 4 or 5 years, i listened to the entire 2013 championship on he radio in israel, to this day i have never seen any of it , i would say tho that the feeling of joy i had when we beat clare in 2013 was the same as today, (albeit in a different setting), 2013 was a very private experience for me as nobody around me know what i was doing as i wa…
Glad to hear that you are ok mate but I think its important that you and your family take it easy over the next few weeks as there might be some residual shock and anxiety floating around. Keep a close eye on your kids mate Its terrible that this happened but thank fuck you are ok. While we all have pops on here at each other constantly its all in jest so God bless

[image] A bit of a horror show on my first marathon. It all went a bit pear shaped from 24-33km, and my ambitions for a good time plummeted. Seriously plummeted. Went out way too fast thinking I could hold it as training had gone well the last few weeks but suffered like hell and was in a dark place. Told myself to cop on and got to the end of it. Met the Mrs on O Callaghan strand after mile 21. Took a gel and ate half a snickers I had for after the race and walked with her for 500m. Then I j…
Rascal is home and in flying form. The good wishes from the TFK family are much appreciated.
Only know the one way home though, with their tails between their legs.

On my own at the moment, been on the road for 6 weeks now. Had an chance to travel due to a career move, so took the opportunity and handed in my notice early so I could get a decent break. Colombia is great, one of the nicest countries I’ve been to. Cartagena is brilliant, especially the old walled city. Not sure if it fits ye’re ideal honeymoon destination, but I’d say there are plenty of great spots along the Carribbean coast. The water is warm and the sand is perfect, the better beaches bei…
Shit just got real on the peninsula. [image][image][image]
I just want to say something, I lined up behind the 3:45 pacer lad at the start this morning and there was a lad running in memory of his daughter, he had her photograph on the back of his shirt, she must only have been 8 or 9, I had no sun glasses on today as I threw them away in a temper last week when things were getting tough, I started crying when I saw that picture, I was overcome with the emotion of it all, I looked around and saw the greatness of humanity lined up beside me. I run for …

Have we mentioned before that these county finals were Division 3 and that ye were a thundering disgrace to be playing in that grade? A town of 20,000 people with only 1 hurling team playing in Division 3 to avoid the top teams. And a cunt on the internet still dining out on it.
On one side you’ve grown men asking for a stranger to deposit 6.25k to another stranger, the middle man, on the INTERNET as part of a bet. On the other you’ve a lad taking the high moral ground on literally every single topic, condescension dripping towards every other poster, accusing lads of being alcoholics and sneerily dismissing anyone with a different view point to him. It’s unreal. Only on TFK. And the gas thing is in six months time I’ll still be here wading through hundreds of posts …
Success!!!
'He didn’t go to fight a war…he didn’t board an aeroplane and travel thousands of miles to fight in some one elses country…He fought when the soldiers came to his road…his town… his place. Martin Mc Guinness fought back… there will always be those that fight back. I never had my father or my brother dragged out of my house by the hair being beaten and kicked by thugs in uniform. The war came to them… Mc Guinness made peace… the people saw their strongest warrior compromise and reach out to his e…
[quote=“Boxtyeater, post:4540, topic:20929, full:true”] A good oul’ mate of mine was dealt an hammer blow on Saturday morning when his wife had a brain tumour/stroke. She’s on life support awaiting/hoping for a transfer to Beaumont. He’d be more or less potless God help him. I was there all evening - he doesn’t know which side of him is up… His great friends were there - to a man…I discreetly sussed the gathering and we agreed between us that we’d fund the funeral. I know in my heart of hear…
Fanning sat with his back to the window, a brave move deep in kinahan heartland. he enjoyed a kenyan blend coffee while his 2 companions had milk based coffee. the trio were deep in conversation but unsurprisingly it was fanning who dominated the discussions. body language and tone suggested a degree of subservience from his female companion, his male companion just seemed a little slow. the conversation was an animated discussion about a mutual acquaintance. i had ordered a take away coffee bu…
It’s a very unusual disease Fagan. If there is a plus side to it, it is that people tend to develop a very sallow skin. My wife looks like she’s just back from Spain in the middle of December. If we get a good summer she just goes bronze. Before we got married the wife attended a specialist in Dublin and he told her it was unlikely she’d carry a baby to full term. When she did get pregnant and the time came, we had half the gynaecologists in the country parked up in Limerick for the birth. I…

You sacked the last head chef after his mediocre food, why are you giving this chef so much leeway? I hear you are paying him a fortune as well, just because he had some good food previously. I haven’t seen anything to suggest he’s getting the best out of the ingredients he has, and his new menu additions have been poor and overly expensive, while he has gotten rid of other options prematurely. I’ve heard some criticisms that your previous chef might have been overly reliant on that one South …
I saw a lovely roasterish incident yesterday in Castlebar. Myself and the old man had arranged to meet the rest of the family at An Sportlann (the Castlebar Mitchells clubhouse which is beside McHale Park) before the match to get some food and watch the Ireland match (democracy is a curse). There was already a decent crowd gathered in the bar at half four. As I was silently willing the French on, I noticed there was a trio of elderly men sitting at a table far away from the TV, shouting at anyo…
Dear oh dear - resorting to foul language on t’internet. Look @anon7035031 and indeed @Sidney, this puerile “banter” is boring and only absorbing your own braincells. I couldn’t give a flying fuck what either of you care about the current American President or the posting status of @HBV, but for the sake of the forum give yourselves a break. In case you’ve missed it, the forum charter indicates a willingness to engage in discussion/banter/slagging on predominately GAA or agricultural matters. …
The missus had a wee baby girl today alls well.happy days…renewing the gun licence tomorrow and upgrading the dog!
Should be back for Easter.
January;
It’s akin to you waffling on about Celtic signing Jockstrap McHaggishead or Hamish McCabertoss from Raith Rover or East Fife. At the end of the day nobody else really gives a fuck
After we were told that our daughter was a child with Down Syndrome, of course you are gutted, but the child has just been born, as in you have the child, taken over to one side, checked and then they come back and say that your daughter more than likely is a child with Down Syndrome. So the emotion of child birth and the beauty that goes with that is very quickly taken away from you. My sorrow was that we knew we were having a girl so I had projected 30 years down the line and walking her dow…
Just back from Fraher Field, Dungarvan. Things that are wrong - hurling in January on boggy pitches. Decent work out but Waterford putting out the B team rendered it null and void as a meaningful contest. We were all at sea early on. Waterford had their usual tactic of a one man forward line as they packed the midfield, leaving one attacker inside with an ocean of space. Richie McCarthy was repeatedly exposed by either Bennett or Foran who rotated as their sole forward. Bennett slipped inside…

If @Fran fails to get this after that Jockstrap McHaggishead post then we may as well shut the whole place down!
I will scan through the various posts later as I joined TFK a couple of months in to 2017
60+ likes, I don’t think there’s anything close.
Actually. @Farmerinthecity is the only one close.
A family member of my lady had a number of miscarriages as well (maybe 6 or 7) and also a stillborn, which is without a doubt the saddest thing I have ever witnessed in my life. She is pregnant again now though and past the 3 months with all well. If ever someone deserved it. This lady gave birth to a healthy baby boy this morning. I am so delighted for her and her husband.
Think a couple of “look at me, I had a baby posts” broke 50 as well. But this is in second place.
I can honestly say that it was not my intention to get likes when I posted a good luck story which happened to a couple following very tough luck regarding an emotive topic like having kids.
