I’m going to get a fish and chip in about an hour as a little treat to myself on this Friday evening. It’s a lovely little tradition they have in England to get a ‘fish supper’ on a Friday evening @tassotti. There would be queues out the door and you’d be queuing patiently with your money clasped tightly in your hand waiting for your turn. I used to love watching them batter the fish in front of me and then the sizzling sound it made as it hit the oil. The anticipation would be unreal.

Just garlic. They can add the salt and pepper themselves.
