Forgot to post how the lamb turned out on Sunday. Universal agreement it was my finest hour. Lamb was falling apart, served on a bed of white beans. The beans were unrale, simmered for 1.5 hours with onions, garlic, herbs and tomatoes

I must confess that I was totally unaware of such sophisticated crockery, I must also admit that I wouldn’t posess the refined sense required to pair sausages and chips with deftly (geddit) appropriate tableware.
If only I’d paid more attention to ‘Only Fools and Horses’.
