Iâve a couple of elderly distant neighbours, Iâm not sure if the farm has been set, sold, or if ownership has been transferred. But i call to see them regardless- usually when called upon, to see if something can be fixed without having to get a man in.
Anyhow, theyâre very devout catholics. Unfortunately, someone (my oul lad) tipped them off about webcams and live mass. They were also assured that i could âget it for them.â Iâve had to âget it for themâ every day for the last ten days.
Yesterday evening, i was called to get it for them from ClonardâŚan evening kick off. I donât even bother trying to explain the underlying techniqueâŚjust fired up the television. They both sat down to enjoy massâŚwhile having their dinner. Spuds, peas, chicken, mashed carrots and gravy. They didnât as much as blink when i bade them farewell.
He had a slap of mustard on his chicken, as if things werenât bad enough.

He could make a DVD of 10/12 masses and have them on a loop for them.

They gave up the sweet as there was too much palm oil in the swiss roll

Iâd say roasters would think palm oil is something the âSpanardsâ put in their hair. No roaster would give up a sweet unless the doctor ordered them to!
