Tottenham Hotspur, the Ryan Mason variant

Sad to see an honourable man like Nuno hounded out by the jingoistic British

Post reported…

He is in the pocket of Jorge Mendes. Honourable doesn’t go with Mendes.

You’d worry this Paratici chap will bring in Conte and spend a fortune on Serie A duds to keep Juventus solvent.

Paratici is a Jorge Mendes client. As was Gatusso who he tried to get in first before Nuno.

Did you report any of these, you underpants sniffer?

What’s the issue with calling the Irish “ Paddies “ ?

What’s your issue with calling the Brits tans?

Man City superfan @EstebanSexface getting all hot and bothered about Joe Lewis. Maybe @EstebanSexface should go out and stone a few people to death to relax himself.

alright Al Murray pub landlord.

Spurs would hardly have sacked Nuno if they didn’t have the deal for Conte already done.

5 wins and 5 defeats in 10 matches is hardly sacking territory just yet.

Levy sacked Pochettino and Redknapp for less.

9 goals in 10 league games, only bottom of the table Norwich have scored less. Third worst goal difference in the league only Norwich and second bottom Newcastle worse. Those are stats that normally have teams in relegation places. We’ve been playing like a relegation side since the opening day win over Citeh really. The other four wins were all very scratchy.

This went far beyond initial new manager teething problems. There was no sense of Nuno turning things around and he looked completely out of his depth. No intensity, no desire or no air of authority about him. In fairness it’s a job and a challenge that plenty of the top coaches in the game would find challenging and possibly not up to either.

Little commentary on Levy again.

Sigh.

A top class manager like Pep Guardiola would get a top class centre forward like Harry ‘goal machine’ Kane back firing you’d imagine.

If Son had scored that early sitter the last day Conte would be united boss this week. Sliding doors moment again as he goes to spurs and ole is there now till end of season.

Spuds going to be paying Conte ÂŁ1m a month.

Baffling how the most in debt club in Europe are able to afford such largesse.

Levy is like a problem gambler chasing his losses here. Thankfully the ownership of Spurs is an opaque structure run through the Bahamas so he won’t face the financial scrutiny that other clubs might.

Levy must be the most inept CEO in football at the minute, whether that’s by accident or design but Spuds are a shambles, won nothing, white elephant stadium, spiraling debts, rising running costs and a bang average squad assembled for hundreds of millions - all under his watch.
