Thats fair enough, and of course in different environments we can be different people.
Put it this way, if he is with you you’d love him, if he is against you won’t.
You’ll always respect him though.

I think this has gone over a few lads heads.
Martin Fogarty really was the brains of the Kilkenny operation. Lyng and McGarry don’t seem to have any function.
De Burca, Barron and Gleeson 
Apart from Buckley who was phenomenal, Kilkenny weren’t up to much and in truth should have been beaten out the gate in normal time.
Big Dan ran himself into the ground last night and was out on his feet during extra time.

Johnstown always had good teams.
Actually he wasn’t the manager Martin power was. Eddie was a coach/assistant manager. He got on very well with the players but it was Power calling the shots.
To be fair the Kieran’s team is practically the county minor team, that doesn’t happen in most schools which could explain their success
Lookit KK won’t be going away and will always be thereabouts, the next crop will be compared with the 00’s team as the benchmark but reaching those heights or success I can’t see happening again by any county in my lifetime. KK will be rebuilding but will certainly be in the mix over the next few years without dominating

Ya that kinda domination is rare. Usually hunger is an issue and/or other teams figure you out. They were just special.

McGarry was one of his chosen ones I’d have thought but maybe not anymore.
Shefflin, unless he gets too soft with the media and €€€€, will be a Kilkenny manager at some point.
