Id be of the same opinion, but I wonder if many can’t actually face spending undiluted time with their own 🤷

Deadly - thanks. We’re in a chalet thing right beside some friends so I think there’ll be good opportunity to do some mutual babysitting and get down the down for a meal out without kids

Great stuff. Even reading that list is getting me giddy about it all.

Any recommendations for a multi generational holiday destination that won’t send me to the poor house? Looking like it will be around 10 adults from 65 - 18 and 2 younger children. Seems difficult to book anything for a group that big just by browsing online.

Jesus your life is pure shit now isn’t it pal?

What sort of holiday? Rent a house type thing or a resort/hotel?

Canaries

It’s all in the pot at the moment. Given the numbers renting a house might make more sense if we could get one in a decent location.

Lake Garda/Lake Como would have something for all those generations and wouldn’t put you in queer street.

Dubrovnik/Dalmatian Coast might be another runner.

Yeah two good shouts there. Or further north in Croatia either there’s some lovely areas.

Croatia is beautiful alright.

Can you get full Irish breakfasts every morning & good Irish bars with traditional music for each evening there?

Good lighting for taking the photo of the pint is essential

That’s the time to have a trusty axe in the boot and whip it out. A few preliminary swipes (think TJ Reid facing a line cut) won’t be long softening the hoors cough. I pulled it off once after a mild altercation at a roundabout off the N4 with an agitated Dub. Quote tae in mug line here……

Go to Mallorca. Simple and cheap. Loads of stuff for the kids. Some gorgeous driving. Plenty restaurants and pubs. Loads of options with flights.

Tenerife is better than Mallorca imo, but longer flight.

I’ve never been. I was very pleasantly surprised by Mallorca last year

I love Mallorca, but Tenerife is bigger, quieter, cheaper, more varied and has better seafood.
