Naples is fucking class. Gritty, real city with splashes of beauty and putrid cast beside each other. Loved it and would love to go back. Wouldn’t chance it in a PL football jersey tho

Liverpool fans have been repeatedly attacked in Naples, as have plenty of other football fans . There were attacks back in 09/10 i think? In 2019 a few Liverpool fans were hospitalised after lads on Scooters indiscriminately belted them. Klopp should have doubled down on it and called Naples the drug addled hell hole it is.

Naples is everything these hypocrites say they love about Liverpool. A historically downtrodden city, marginalised by the government in a manner far worse than Liverpool ever was, a football mad city that idolises its past football heroes (to an insane level), a city that is trying to shed a reputation for being rough and develop a tourist industry, but the boys call it a shithole.
