Declan Rice is some player.
He is excellent. A real pity he did not want to play with us it has to be said. The likes of Antonio saying how much playing for England would mean to him and then turning out for Jamaica while being in Riceās ear with agents definitely did not help.
Heās awesome. One of the best players in the league.
He has it all, pace, football brain, passing, tackling, tenacity and most important work rate.
Passing? Iām not sure about that.
His passing is solid. The fact Southgate does not want him to go past midfield is not his fault. He is comfortable passing and moving forward with West Ham from what I have seen.

His passing is underrated. He keeps it simple but heās very good in fairness. I canāt get over how good he is at running with the ball.
He is more Probably a throw back to the traditional box to box midfielders more than a DM.
Heās a very good player.
In the mould of a young Roy Keane.
